Members of the Finance and Economic Development Committee (FEDCO), listed below, are meeting this Tuesday to consider giving away $2.9 million for a Porsche dealership in Vanier.

How is a luxury sports car showroom supposed to help a neighbourhood facing a housing emergency?

The $2.9 million the City of Ottawa is looking to spend on Porsches would be larger than what the 2021 Budget set out to spend on real community initiatives like improving greenspace, partnering with community groups to expand parks and recreation facilities and improving road safety.

We don't need luxury car dealerships. We need rent relief for small businesses, help for tenants and work on fixing Ottawa's self-declared housing emergency.

Join Horizon Ottawa in telling City Hall to get their priorities straight!
