PRESS CONFERENCE: Community Organizations to Hold Press Conference to Demand More Accountability Around Ottawa Police Services Board, Ottawa Police and City

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

What: Community groups including: 613-819 Black Hub, Asilu Collective, Ottawa Black Diaspora Coalition, the Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women, Horizon Ottawa and the Street Resilience Project are holding a press conference this Friday morning to call on Ottawa Police Services Board Chair, Eli El-Chantiry to reverse his decision to cancel the Monday Police Services Board meeting to hear delegations. They are also calling for all measures necessary to ensure that the City, the Ottawa Police Services Board and Ottawa Police Services are held accountable for their complete mismanagement of and complicity in the Ottawa occupation and continued neglect of residents.
